Trying not to rate everything the DLC advertises without giving too much info that isn't on the store page. But at least there's 4 ways to win now (Actual Final Boss, Obliteration, Hidden Bonus Boss 1-4, and now Hidden Bonus Boss 5) so I can just end my runs differently if I hate it that much I don't need to dwell on it. I beat it once to say I did, out of pure spite, since my first time reaching it was that wretched. I also just completely hate the new alternate final boss. Or the aforementioned longer burn in this thread. These bugs include things like Momentum being carried over after falling off the stage, rocketing you off the same ledge again. It's not perfect, though: As stated, there are bugs that need fixing, which the devs have released info on and are working on. ![]() ![]() A must-not for Engineer with Stationary Turrets, but beyond amazing on agile characters like Huntress or Mercenary.) The new items are total gamechangers and trade-offs in the same way Lunar Items are, since they corrupt existing items into more copies of them (Bustling Fungus gets corrupted into Weeping Fungus, as an example, making it heal on sprint instead of on standing still. The new enemies (with the notable exception of the new, alternate final boss you can find) mix up the variety and help offset a lot of the past issues. The content is a much-needed upgrade to the vanilla game. The DLC shook up how a lot of people played, and this is why they aren't happy. This is the reason for the hate you see on the forums.Īnd this honestly makes sense people got used to how it was before. Therefore, people are inherently worse at it than they are at the old content. It's new, so people don't have the knowledge yet. ![]()
