Partnering with great leadership, and a talented, committed staff makes my job here rewarding. I was accepted into the EduKids Management Trainee Program in 2016 and was appointed Director the same year. This center is also the proud host of the Frontier UPK program. While I did not anticipate a Jewish education, I now cannot imagine anything else. All of these strengths are grounded in meaningful Jewish values. My daughter is so proud of her reading, writing & numbers skills! The school's small size and down to earth constituency lend itself to a warm, involved community for students, families & admin. The children are also extremely pepared for the more academic elementary grades. The social emotional curriculum is strong and a priority. The classes have an excellent teacher/ student ratio and also include "floaters" that come in for added attention. My daughter was struggling with separation, but the school allowed for a gentle process that allowed her to attach to her teachers naturally. The school is a nurturing place for children to begin their schooling experience. Parent: My daughter has been at RSS for 3 yrs and is currently in Kinder. My teachers know me and I feel comfortable communicating with them. I really do feel like it’s a home away from home. The goal we have is to make a difference in the community and in ourselves to be something better. We have a community of respect and love for everyone no matter their race or skin color. My school is special because we have a unique system that allows us as students to make our way to a better future. I like school because I get to do things that can't do at home and I love seeing my friends. I also enjoy my school because it has some really cool teachers who make the lessons interesting and really make you want to work hard. There are so many students studying in the school from Kindergarten to higher secondary classes. There is a playground, a computer lab, library, science labs, prayer hall, and a cafeteria. I love my school because it has lots of facilities. Parent: My school teaches me discipline, respect, and responsibility. The Costa Rica trip inspired me to continue studying Spanish in college. I traveled to two countries: Italy and Costa Rica. The school also had lots of opportunities to travel to other countries. But I became friends with people on the team fast, and am so glad I decided to play. It turns out that there were other people in situations similar to mine on the team. But my senior year, I realized that I wouldn't have the opportunity to play on a high school team again, and decided to play. I was intimidated to play my next two seasons because I knew I was behind on skill because I have never played before. I wanted to play freshmen year, but then Covid struck and there was no season. But in addition to volleyball, I played lacrosse my senior year. I made close friend that I would like to remain close with in my future. I played volleyball all four years, and I'm very glad I did. I was encouraged to do as much as I can, regarding clubs and sports. Senior: I had an incredibly memorable experience.
